Allana Ferguson bio

Allana played for Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to miss several years before making the switch back to rugby league. Allana was the first to play in a female rugby union match which was held by New South Wales in 2013 and she was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana has also added radio to her game, regularly appearing on the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos athlete who played an extensive period of rugby league was forced to close her playing career before the age of 25 after she tore her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson has already injured ligaments on her knee between 15 and 17, but after the fourth tear the game was over for the 25-year-old.
